I know there will come a time when the anniversary will probably be unmentioned and forgotten, and that's a bit weird given the enormity of what happened on that day.... amazing how we move on.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05025492709452476763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6348662971403602237.post-83580651789291159572013-03-29T22:10:48.445+00:002013-03-29T22:10:48.445+00:00I'm never one for any useful words with this s...I'm never one for any useful words with this sort of thing (it kicks out my terribly British half) but (((hugs)))Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15734121298247594075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6348662971403602237.post-69146623468205445072013-03-28T14:05:37.411+00:002013-03-28T14:05:37.411+00:00Jazakillah khair, and I'm sorry to hear that y...Jazakillah khair, and I'm sorry to hear that you too are on this path. Your aunt is lucky that she has people who love her to be with her in this transition for as I get older I can see the immense importance of helping people in their final hours in this world.
And it's terrible for a while and then it does get easier; grief is a process you just can't circumvent but you can trust that it will ease.
xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05025492709452476763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6348662971403602237.post-1140709931903584812013-03-28T13:50:23.424+00:002013-03-28T13:50:23.424+00:00Assalamu alaikum Sr. Debbie...

Alhamdulillah for your words - Allah is most merciful, indeed. Your 'A state of loss' post spoke to my heart today and the words of the beautiful prophet Jesus(AS)"This world is a bridge, so pass over it and do not build your house upon it" was just the reminder I needed.
I've been following your blog for quite some time and Masha'Allah for your strong Muslimah self - I've always felt a strong sense of solidarity with you - being a convert Muslim myself but on the other side of the pond.
JazakAllahu khair and may God fill your heart with immense iman and noor - especially on this day.
