At last, this simple knit is finished!
You would think, by definition of it being a simple knit that it would have been a quick project, but actually I have had to frog this project FOUR times before getting it right. It defies explanation. I've had the yarn, Louet Riverstone, since last November, and this shawl should have been warming me all winter! I just can't understand what went wrong so many times. I'm baffled.
But all's well that ends well, and now it's mine, all mine, doing a grand job of keeping the spring chills at bay as I knit yet more (hopefully non-froggable) things for our family.

It is GORGEOUS! I need one for sure today..we have awakened to SNOW..My garden looks very fragile right now..all of the plants are bent over and VERY saturated...If only I could have knit little shawls for all of my flowers...hmmm...
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I would love one too! ;) It's lovely MashaAllâh and SO nice you finally finished it! Xoxo Tasneem
ReplyDeletegod tell me about it...for the past two days now I've been trying to finish a crochet project.
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to get the sleeves right though...I can't count the amount of times I've had to rip it out now!
mashallah the shawl looks great...I wish I were brave enough to try something knitted....
You start to question your sanity and/or ability after the first two times.
ReplyDeleteAm imagining a garden full of flowers with little hats and mittens.... it's the start of a children's classic I'm sure ;-)
