:: Allotment Work :: As well as spending some back-breaking hours over at the allotment, making new beds, battling with the weeds, Mama was also desperately trying to play catch up with the seeding after the damn snails raided the greenhouse and ate the LOT of the last (ready to be planted) seedlings. The new soil block maker was put to full use. Now we wait....

:: New Equipment :: We've been taking possession of a few new pieces of equipment recently; a few additions to the household, new toys for kitchen, new scope in our homesteading way of life....

:: Planning and Dreaming :: Sketches, plans, hopes, dreams. The best part about making new things is sometimes the day-dreaming beforehand...

:: In the kitchen :: There was time a-plenty for old faves to be added to some empty tins, as well staples for the cereal jars. Time too for the chore of household-cleaner-making to be tackled...

  5. Cleaning products :: different recipes for different things. The laundry powder involves borax, soap, soda crystals etc. Other cleaning products are a mix of bicarb, vinegar, lemon. There is a whole slew of them!

Energy :: I have bursts of energy and bursts of laziness, and I love the fact that here in blogland my house appears clean :: in real life there is a pile of laundry 10ft high, ironing that hasn't been done in 6 months (not joking) and grubby paw prints round all the doors!
