So yeah. We went to a zoo, and I took more pictures of blossom and flowers than I did of the animals. This disgusted my children no end who shook their heads with disbelief. But it confirmed in me one thing :: I sure do love lilac a lot.

They will understand some day. My kids are grown and they totally get it now that they are gardeners.

England has mothers day waaaay back in March - dont ask me why. Ye olde fertility pagan thing. But hope yours was a day full of love and appreciation (and chocolate)
