A little clearing out. A little rearranging. A little bit for charity. A little for the bin. Some chalkboard paint and boxes. Paint, pegboards and use of all the space and... slowly getting there....
Still a little way to go, but already a whole lot better.
Love it, I'm doing the same at the moment but in the garage. To be honest it is the sorting and chucking out part that is proving most difficult for me.
I am exhausted watching you do all of this! I cant' imagine how YOU must feel! Wonderful organization methods. Love your awesome sense of color. ; ) xoox dd
Looking good! I love the wee wall mounted thing for sewing reels, especially. Oh how I'd love my own studio... but like you say, what a luxury, and how spoilt I sound whinging about it! Your organising is most impressive, and also pretty.
I've purged our house ready for this weekend's move, and I've surprised myself with the amount I've been able to let go of. I will have done seven trips to the charity shop, as well as a sweep round to several friends houses by the time we move. I've sold or given away nearly all my furniture.
I love the room colour, and I've earmarked it for a room in th new house
It actually feels good to let go, doesn't it? I feel free from clutter and know nothing is lurking in untidy corners. Chalk paint - well that wardrobe has already been painted before, so no, didn't have any problems with it. Just took a couple of coats and dried in no time.

ReplyDeleteYes, the letting go is the hard part. Once you get over that hump it's plain sailing, emotionally. Hope your garage is nice and warm!!
