There is always something on the sticks here. Rarely is there a moment of yarn free activity. It is not uncommon for several projects to be on the go at one time, and when I get bored with one I pick another up, until stitch by stitch they eventually cascade off my needles, quickly to be replaced by another project.
I can always find a need to knit. Warming the hands then warming my family. What's not to love.
You are SO good at it! and spinning too:) I think I am going to make a pair of fingerless mitts with the yarn you sent me:) I am trying the "shalom" sweater right now:) So far, so good!!! I am starting to gain more confidence and am pretty comfortable with quite a few stitches! I enjoy it so much..it was a mystery to me for SO long!! I am glad I FINALLY started to UNTANGLE the mysteries of yarn!!!

ReplyDeleteKnitting is just lovely, I'm so glad it's clicked for you. It has saved my sanity many a day. On the sticks - socks and a sweater for the eldest, and today I cast on with the yarn you sent for a cowl (thankyou) and, um, I daresay by the end of the day I will find a few more reasons to cast on something else :)
