After the carding, and hoovering up the debris, and spinning a skein, and washing the skein, and knitting up a storm we are left with this: a hat. A hat of unbeatable warmth and cosiness, but more than that - a gift - a gift to let someone know they are cared for. Hopefully that will warm them the most.
Oh what a beautiful hat. I tried carding and spinning in January and loved it- the result was hopeless- I am saving up for my own spinning wheel now.
