Tuckered Out

my so called life

It's been cold and very windy here. We hit the beach, but it seemed like the beach hit us, so a wander around town, a few new books for bedtime and a walk around the park where I used to run cross country when I was at school.

At night we melt into these over-stuffed duvets. Sometimes we are just too tired to clear the bed first. Apart from the eldest who reads way past midnight, after two lights out and sneaky lights-back-on, a couple of stern threats and a resigned shrug of the shoulders. That one exists on forty winks.

Something about visiting a nana is extra exciting and twice as tiring.
