We celebrated the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, marking 60 years reign, this weekend by forgetting totally about it, not giving a rat's bum and wallowing in self-pity at the ludicrious amount of rain now recommencing over the land meaning we couldn't make it to the beach.
But given that it's a bank holiday plus an extra day for the jubilee perhaps that's just as well....
