A Change Of Pace
There's nothing quite like a change of season for a change in pace, and a fresh start.
New rhythms are slowly starting to creep into our days; prayer times are starting to squeeze closer together; days themselves have new focus and new goals. Outdoor play is not taken for granted and it's a new indoor pace of life that we are starting to settle into.
New, too, is the nature table's colours and contents. We have been letting this little space of ours slide for a long while, but there is something quite centring about bringing the outside in and remembering in a tangible way where we are in the universe right now.
We'll try and hold onto the colour and beauty of autumn til all these foraged goodies grow brown and curl and crackle to brown dust. Then we'll start a new, winter, rhythm, and try to find the beauty in that too.
