I Fell in Love

DSC_0030

Yesterday I fell in love with a piece of equipment and wondered how I have lived so long without one.

What did people DO before the age of microwaves and slow cookers??!

  1. The bottom of my oven works like a slow cooker and in the winter it's always on! Love slow cooked stews etc.

  2. Well I'm wondering why no one told me about this invention. Apart from my sister who raved on and on about it. But she doesn't count. (shes blonde ... shhh). It's great for those days when I'm taxiing them to classes and come back hungry.

  3. We have three! Great for times when we are having people over and not really enough space/time to make everything happen on the stove at once (Thanksgiving, Super Bowl).

  6. I used mine a lot last year and if you have a breadmaker you can cheat on hot, wholesome food :)

    enjoy!!

  7. Hmm I'm still not a fan of breadmaker machine bread... I've yet to find one that isn't heavy on my tummy or soggy.

  12. Oh I have a rice cooker which sits on a top shelf and never used. I think that's why I was a bit reticent to buy the slow cooker - I thought it would be another big thing sitting in a cupboard!
