Sometimes I try to look at my home with a stranger's eyes - sometimes I am so used to everything that I don't see the beauty in it - familiarity breeds contempt, as they say.

So, I try to imagine that this is someone else's place and I try to find little bits of prettiness to charge up my crafting mojo.

These are things I found today.

  2. I think I have to say that mustard (and grey, and teal) is my favourite colour, especially for yarn. I can't get enough of it.

  3. Yes, I do that too! Especially as an antidote to when I look around and think about what a disaster the place is...

  4. Right! Sometimes I cant see the good stuff for noticing the bad!
