One night last week I pulled out the scrap bag, glue gun, buttons and trim, and set about making these wreathes to give our house some winter cheer for these cold months ahead.
It was a pleasant task which, like is often the case, became a meditation in itself - a soothing, mind absorbing act of creation. Creating beautiful things really cannot be compared with anything else, and in the morning when the boys came downstairs and found the new decorations, well, you would have thought I had given them the Crown Jewels.
A little bit of winter cheer.

ReplyDeleteWhoa, I love the red/ multi-coloured wreath. What did you use for the shape (the only thing that shape in my house is my baby's swimming ring.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, forgot to mention the actual wreath! I bought a polystyrene ring which you can find in craft shops like Hobbycraft. Then just hot glued fabric around it! :)
