  4. LOVE the new background, bring out the inner granny I say! Also love you 'this moment'. I have seen these devices in blogland, can you tell me it's name and purpose? Would it stop my balls of yarn falling apart and getting in a tangle while I crochet?

  5. Yes indeed. I've hidden my granny under a bushel for too long :P This is a swift and you can use them in conjunction with a wool winder - basically when you get skeins of yarn which is unballed you place them on a swift whichs as you wind the wool into a ball. If you buy yarn already balled up then this wont be any use to you.

  9. Thankyou!
What yarn is that? I have some rowan wool cotton in the same colour that I got in a sale at john lewis. Some has made it's way into a tanktop for my youngest, but there is some left and that wonderful, golden buttery colour is calling to be used!

  10. This is Cascade 220 Heathers - in Birch, colour #9564

on the screen it looks rather green, in this one it looks rather yellow, but in real life it has the colour of dijon mustard! plenty of other colours to choose from in the Cascade 220 range though!
