A Mother of Petrol Heads

This is how I spent my bank holiday weekend. The smell of popcorn, diesel, dust and smoke is still firmly embedded in my nostrils. The sound of air horns, vendors, engines of all kinds and happy children is still ringing in my ears. The faces of two boys still smiling - nay, grinning from ear to ear - in the glow of a boy weekend is still a sight that greets me. Mothers of car-loving boys everywhere will be sympathizing with me by the time they reach the bottom of the page, because they know. Oh, they know, the sacrifices we make for these creatures of ours. This post is for my boys.

Love you, muppets. xx
