Quilt

You might think all I do all day is knit and spin, educate and feed and wipe never-ending detritus up. Not so. I also hand sew a quilt too.

This project is soooo old and I'm not digging the links out to prove it, but I have only a little way to go... so so near.... can I do it before another birthday? I don't know. But I'll give it my best shot.

    That is really lovely - so full of warmth and light, a little exotic, and totally uplifting for a wintry day. It looks very plump too. What have you used for batting?

    It's the boys favourite colour :) batting? Gosh I basted so long ago I don't really remember. 4oz I think.

    its looks lovely debbie! and quite big - i once tried making a quilt (double size) but at the end of the nightmare decided never to try that again!!

    This is a single. Quilts always seem a bad idea once the batting gets involved ;)
