I don't know why we haven't made our own butter before now. I mean, we've done it with jam jars and shown the boys how to make it, but I just don't know why we buy it when it is so astonishingly easy to make, and infinitely tastier.

  3. oh, how I love butter. I eat far too much of it (allegedly, that is according to my hubby). I'm a bread and butter kind of girl (proper bread and proper butter that is, not margarine).
Maybe you could make bread with your kiddos now.

  7. Great for you! Do you use fresh milk for the butter? I could gulp the whole thing down and feel no guilt. Waiting on the recipes...
